Problem:
Recently relocating from New York City to the Miami Design District, Michael Young Textiles downsized their employee base but retained bloated systems designed for a much larger business.

Solution:
The server collection they brought from New York was significantly more than they required with the new, reduced staff.  R-Squared consolidated all their different servers down to two machines, and cannibalized the remaining servers to upgrade all the staff's computers.  The warehouse location in Opa Locka was connected to the Design District Headquarters via secure VPN technology.  This new design allowed all orders generated at the headquarters to be electronically transmitted to the warehouse for fulfillment.  The direct warehouse data connection saved Michael Young Textiles an estimated $15,000!

In addition, network level anti-virus and other security protocols were established after it was determined that one of the employee computers had been hacked by a "trojan horse" virus.  New staff was trained on internet safety, and were all given a Microsoft Office tutorial to improve their knowledge of the primary business software in use by the company.
