Problem:
With an ever-expanding catalog of new technologies aimed at the
construction and engineering industry, and because they had been burned on a
number of other technologies, RGE was hesitant to implement any new systems to
the overall detriment of the business.
Solution:
R-Squared spent a week evaluating all existing computer systems and employee
work models. After fully understanding the work flow process of the
business, R-Squared recommended the implementation of new Computer Aided
Drafting (CAD) software, in conjunction with updated printing capabilities.
As such, RGE is capable of generating highly detailed, computer aided
engineering drawings printed on large format color plotters for their customers.
New heavy duty computers fleshed out the overall design improving employee
productivity by 44%, cutting down project turn-around time by 20% and reducing
errors by 12%.
